They Tried to Erase Your Ancestors: Here's How We Answered

This week, we went down into the bloodline.

After telling the truth about the war on the Black body, we descended to the second body of light — the Ka, the ancestral life force. And we met the oldest lie in this country head-on: that our ancestors could be erased. They have spent four hundred years trying. This week, we proved they failed — because the Ka does not live in a museum they can gut or a record they can edit. It lives in you, in the blood, in the melanin.

We Answered This Week in Three Movements

Tuesday — The Commentary. We answered by naming the oldest war in America: the war on our memory. From the executive orders rewriting Black history today, back through the stolen names, the banned drum, the edited “Slave Bible,” and the invented “diseases” that pathologized the very will to be free — one unbroken machine of erasure. And then the truth that undoes it: it always fails, because you cannot delete a people who carry their ancestors in their blood.

Wednesday — The Teaching. We learned what the Ka actually is: the vital life force transmitted through the bloodline. You are not one. You were never one. You are the living edge of a line that refused to end — the chapter your ancestors have been writing toward. And your melanin is the keeper of that memory, receiving a signal your lineage has held on the line for centuries.

Thursday — The Practice. We learned to call them back. Calling the Names is the active, ancient ritual of our people across the diaspora — the power of the spoken word (àṣẹ), the pouring of libation, the daily altar where you set a candle, an offering, and a place at the table for the ones who love you most. We call all the names — the ones we know, and the ones whose names were stolen but whose blood still reached us.
