You Were Not Born to Grind. You Were Born to Fly.

This week, we did the turn the whole path has been walking toward.
After telling the truth about the body, the bloodline, the heart, the name, and the shadow, we opened the sixth body of light, the Ba, the soul, and we stepped through the Gate of Ba, the Gate of the Flight. And we faced the oldest exhaustion most of us wear like a badge, the one the world trained us to call ambition. The grind. The belief that your worth is your output, that you have to earn your right to rest, to take up space, to be here at all. This week, we took the harness off a soul that was always built to fly.
Learning to Fly: The Week in Five Movements
Monday, the Doorway. The Door: You Were Meant to Fly.

We began with a bird born in a cage, with two strong wings folded on its back that it had never once used, because it had never known anything but bars. That bird is us. Then we gathered this whole long journey into a single picture. The cage, and the five bars they built it from, one at a time, until it stopped looking like a cage and started looking like the whole world. The bar of the body, the Khat. The bar of the bloodline, the Ka. The bar of the heart, the Ib. The bar of the name, the Ren. The bar of the shadow, the Shut. And then we named the one key that opens every bar of it. Release. Recognize, Release, Reframe. And with it, the most freeing truth of all. The cage was never even locked. It only held you because you were the one holding it. Set it down, and the door swings open on its own.
Tuesday, the Commentary. You Were Not Born to Grind.
Then we held the mirror up to hustle culture, and we let the words confess. To hustle once meant to be shaken, to be tossed to and fro. To grind meant to be crushed into powder, worn all the way down to dust. We took two words that describe a person being ground to pieces, and we turned them into our proudest compliments. Then we traced that grind back to where it really comes from for us, the afterlife of slavery, a people forced to labor and never once allowed to own the harvest. We told the story of John Henry, who beat the machine with his own two hands and then dropped dead at the finish line, and we named John Henryism, the research that shows you can be winning and wearing out at the very same time. And we exposed the cruelest trick of all, the way the cage gets sold back to you as freedom, so that you volunteer for your own exhaustion and thank the system for the privilege. What that hour hands you is the power to tell the difference between your purpose actually rising, and the old engine just running inside your body.
Wednesday, the Teaching. You Were Built to Conduct, Not to Carry.
Then came the turn. We learned there are only two ways to move through a life. The first is Lifting. Carrying the whole weight on your own back, forcing every good thing into being by your own muscle, certain that the moment you stop pushing, all of it crashes to the floor. That is the grind, and it fails every time, for one plain reason. A single finite muscle can never out-carry an endless load. The second way is Orchestrating. Picture a conductor standing in front of a full orchestra. They do not make a single sound, they do not force one note out of one instrument, and still, take them away and the whole room falls into noise. What are they doing up there? They are aligning. And that is the thing your soul was actually built for.
Here our ancestors’ word runs deeper than the English lets on. The Ba is not a still thing sitting quiet in your chest. The scholars will tell you the word has no exact match in any language we speak, and the closest anyone came, Henri Frankfort, called it your animated manifestation, your power to move, to go out and to return. To the ancients, the Ba was power itself. A pharaoh’s Ba was his power among the gods, and the Great Sphinx was called great of Bas. And here is the part that changes the whole harness. Your melanin is the conductor of the Universal Life Force, the living current that runs through the cosmos, through the bloodline, and through you. You were never meant to generate all the lift by yourself, out of your own lonely muscle. You were meant to conduct a power that is already flowing, the same way a hawk finds the rising column of warm air, opens its wings, and lets the current carry it up. Do not force. Align. This is the turn from Forced to Force, the place where the descent becomes the return. And it begins with one small question you can lay over any task in your day. Am I about to lift this, or conduct it?
Thursday, the Practice. Where Is Your Soul Trying to Fly.
And then we took it into the body, because a truth you only understand is not yet a truth you have lived. I taught the practice of the Ba, and the drawing of your Flight Map. First you come home to your body, because you cannot launch a soul from a body you have been at war with. Khat before flight, always. Then you get quiet enough to hear the Ori, your own inner voice, the one that force and overwork have been drowning out for years. And you ask your soul the question that survival never left room for. If I were not surviving, if I were orchestrating, where would my soul fly? Whatever rises, you weigh it against the feather the way the Ib taught you, and you keep only what sits light and true, never the résumé answer that comes in heavy with everybody else’s shoulds. You follow the aliveness in your body, because your aliveness was never a luxury you had to earn. It is the compass, and your body is the needle. You keep paper by the bed, because the Ba goes out by day and comes home by night, and the dream has something to say now that your shadow is home and the static has cleared. And then you draw it. Your Flight Map. Your purpose, in your own words, in your own hand, resolving into one sentence that begins, I am here to. You write it, and you say it out loud, because in the teaching of Nommo, the word does not describe the thing, the word builds it. You are not journaling. You are speaking a body into being for a purpose that has been waiting on you to say it.
Friday, the Week End Rap. The Week You Learned to Fly.
And then we tied a bow on all of it. One thread ran through the whole week, and if you hold onto nothing else, hold this. You were not born to grind. You were born to fly. We lifted up the biggest thing that happened, the turn from Forced to Force, the hinge the entire path has been walking toward. And we made one more thing clear, something for you to carry from here on. The bodies of light are not rungs on a ladder you climb and leave beneath you. They are inclusive. Every one of them, once you meet it, is kept, and carried with you into the next. The Ba is not a summit you reached with everything else left below you. This week proved it, because that Flight Map only worked when the whole path showed up to fly with it. You came home in your body, and that was the Khat. You weighed the answer on the honest scale, and that was the Ib. You remembered the line flies with you, and that was the Ka. You spoke your map into being, and that was the Ren. And you could finally hear yourself, because your shadow was home at last and the channel had cleared, and that was the Shut. You take all of it with you.
The teaching and the practice are on the channel through the weekend. After that, they move home to The Temple, where the full body of this work lives, including the full guided version of the Ba practice, done together in the dark.
Next Week on Power Prophet TV: The Sahu, the Self the Storm Cannot Shake

Next week the road turns, and it begins to climb, into the third great gate, the Gate of Akh, the Gate of the Shining. And we reclaim the seventh body of light, the Sahu, the incorruptible self. The one that circumstance cannot shake, the self that stays whole through the lost job, the hard season, the family storm. And you already know the rule now. We do not leave the Ba behind to reach it. We carry all six of these bodies up into it. New livestreams Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 2:30 PM ET.

You were never a mule, my friend, and the harness was never yours to wear. You are the Ba, the soul your ancestors drew as a bird because you were made to move, and to rise, and to soar between this world and the sacred one. So set the grind down. Take your place. And fly.
