One day, I had enough of working myself around the clock to sustain perceptions of what is success, mine and others' vision of achievement.

 

At 57 with no plan, I just walked way from a career that had exhausted me psychically, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. It took me some time to identify the emotions attached to my need to repeatedly place myself in situations where my worth was contingent on someone's praise. I say repeatedly, because I came to see addiction to external validation showing up in diverse ways across contexts in my life. What I discerned was that I operating within and through a resonance misaligned with my soul. I was separate from my true self, inner knowing, authentic expression, and purpose in life. My power and control over my self and life, I gave away. It was my mission to heal my resonance, raise my life vibration, and fully reclaim self-sovereignty in my life.

 

Researching and adopting metaphysical practices and strategies to identify what was laying claim over my life without my permission, release the emotions attaching me to what was not serving, and reframe what I thought, believed, valued, communicated, and behaved, an identity died as my authentic self was reborn. My resonance is realigned. My control over my life is activated. My destiny and purpose is now my own.
