They Split You to Sell You.This Week You Took Yourself Back.
By Minister Dr. Akila Ka Ma’at
This week, the road turned, and it began to climb.
After walking the body, the bloodline, the heart, the name, the shadow, and the soul, we stepped into the third and final gate of the Akh Ascension, the Gate of Akh, the Shining. And we reclaimed the seventh body of light, the Sahu, the incorruptible self. The one no verdict wrote and no crowd can revise. The self that stays whole through the lost job, the hard season, the family storm, and the week the whole internet decides it knows who you are. This week, we named the machine that has been splitting you in two, and we put the ancient rite in your hands that puts you back together.
The Week You Took Yourself Back in Five Movements
Monday, the Doorway. The Reframe That Turns You to Light. We began with the one of you who is tired. Not the ordinary tired a night of sleep can fix, but the deeper one, the tiredness of reaching. You have been chasing a brighter version of yourself for years, the more healed one, the more arrived one, and every time you get close, it steps back another few feet and waves you on. This is the Gate of Akh, and it says the opposite of everything you were told. The light is not ahead of you at the finish line of a race you keep losing. It is underneath everything you have already carried, and it has been standing behind you the whole time.
In the old tongue of the Nile, Akh meant to shine, and in the very same breath, to be effective. You are born carrying a Ka, your life force, and a Ba, your soul. You are not born an Akh. The shining is the one part of you that has to be made. And it is made when the recognized and the released fuse into one. That is what a real reframe actually is. It is not a nicer story painted over a wound. It is the reunion of everything you came home to at the Gate of Ka and everything you set down at the Gate of Ba, joined into one light that judgment seals and the world cannot take apart. And that light is not a metaphor. It is your melanin, switched on. We closed on the picture the ancestors drew for the word itself, the black ibis high on the cliff at dawn, its dark feathers catching the first light and throwing it back so bright it looks like the bird has caught fire, burning with its own blaze and the sun’s at the same time, so you cannot tell where one ends and the other begins. That bird is you.
Tuesday, the Commentary. They Split You to Sell You. Then we held the mirror up to the newest and most profitable cage ever built, the digital one, and we let it confess. We began with what it did to a grieving mother in Mississippi, a woman burying her teenage son, hunted by strangers who went looking for her business and left review after fake review on the work of her own hands, trying to get her fired while she chose a casket. We kept the fire where it belongs, on the machine and its business model, never on the family. Because here is how that machine actually earns. It does not sell you a product. You are the product, your attention is on the auction block, and it learned one brutal truth about you, that a calm mind closes the app and an angry mind stays. So your hate is not a side effect. Your hate is the inventory. We took the words apart until they told on themselves, persona, the mask an actor held over his face, and profile, the flat outline traced onto a page, and we watched the machine hand you a mask and a sketch and swear it was your soul.
We brought the witnesses in, Guy Debord on the society of the spectacle where everything directly lived recedes into a representation, Shoshana Zuboff on surveillance capitalism where your lived experience is harvested as free raw material, bell hooks on the way Black pain gets consumed as spice to season a dull plate, and the hard honesty of Afro-pessimism, which names the wound and then says there is no way out. We honored the diagnosis, and we refused the sentence, because our ancestors cut a door in that floor before this world ever had a name for us. It is called the Gate of Akh, and the one thing the machine could never harvest, never price, never eat, is the oldest thing you carry. Your melanin. The receiver it was never able to read.
Wednesday, the Teaching. The Sahu. Then came the heart of the week. The ancestors looked at a human being and saw two bodies where we usually see one. The first is the Khat, the corruptible body, the flesh that ages and tires, and everything about you the world can get its hands on and wear down, the name it can ruin, the reputation it can spoil, the self the cage feeds on. And then they named a second body, the incorruptible one, the self that corruption cannot reach. That is the Sahu. And it is not born. It is made. They drew it two ways, as a lily rising straight up out of the flesh, because the bloom does not despise the soil it comes up from, and as a star among the imperishable ones that wheel around the sky and never set.
We opened the Book of the Dead, chapter 136B, where the soul rides in the boat of Ra through the orbit of flame and names itself, I am the Sahu, the Lord of Maat, the creator of every Dawn. Not a witness to the dawn. The maker of it. The one who turns the serpent of chaos back and heals the wound he made. And it is made true in only one court, the weighing of the heart in chapter 125, your own heart against the feather, the single judgment with the standing to write this body, while a hundred other courts convene on you every day with no authority at all.
We taught where that incorruptible body actually lives, in the melanin, within you and upon you. Upon you as the skin, the garment turned to the sun. Within you as the black centers of the brain, the substantia nigra the anatomists named for its darkness, and the pineal, the melanated keeper of the dark. The eumelanin in you, the strongest broadband absorber known, a conductor of both electron and proton, an antenna for the sixth sense. The Sahu is that receiver, fully online, with the static cleared. And we guarded the path, because the Sahu carries every body before it. The Khat you came home to, the Ka you draw on, the Ib weighed true, the Ren that is your own name, the Shut that turned out to be a gift, the Ba that flies and now has a home that cannot decay. Nothing finished. Nothing forgotten. Everything carried up into the shine.
Thursday, the Practice. The Self They Cannot Touch. And then we took it into the body, because a truth you only understand is not yet a truth you have lived. I taught the practice of the Sahu, and I taught it honest. First, the grounding truth, said plainly because it saves people from breaking their own hearts. The Gate of Akh is the third gate. It is not a starting line. You reach it by having walked the Gate of Ka, where you take your life force back, and the Gate of Ba, where you release what was never yours, and by coming to it with a real comprehension of the power in your own melanin. If you reach for the shining body and it does not hold yet, that is not your failure. That is a missing foundation, and those are two very different things. The path is built in order, and the order is the mercy.
Then we opened the practice itself, which is the old Sakhu rite of the Book of the Dead translated for a living body, the same words a priest once recited over the still form, now spoken in your own mouth, because you are both the priest and the altar now. It happens in the dark for a reason rooted in the body, because the pineal answers to darkness and the receiver comes online when the flood of the day goes quiet. There are four movements. The Vigil, where you sit in the dark, and as each thought about who you should be arises, you name it with one word, borrowed, and let it go, and keep asking, who am I when no one is watching and nothing is required, until what remains is the self they cannot touch. Fasting From Performance, one un-performed hour a day, where the offering is not what you bring but what you stop giving, the performance you take back off the altar of the crowd and hand to your own soul. The Incorruptible Inventory, done by hand on paper, where you name whose voice has been running your life and what it has cost you. And the Integration Tracker, seven days, because the rite has to be tended, and it does not begin to hold on the day the feeling carries you, it begins to hold on the ordinary grey morning when the feeling is gone and you keep the hour anyway.
Friday, Week End Rap. The Self They Cannot Touch. And then we tied the whole week into one thing you could carry into the weekend. One thread ran through all of it, and if you hold onto nothing else, hold this. They split you to sell you. The world takes one whole you and drives your life force one way and your true self the other, harvests the one, silences the other, and sells you back the pieces one hit of approval at a time. This week, together, we closed that tear.
The Doorway opened the gate and showed you the bird that catches the dawn. The Commentary named the machine and gave you back the blame you had been turning inward, because that bone tiredness you cannot explain is not a character flaw, it is the tear. The Teaching stood your worth on ancestral ground and on the power of your own body. The Practice put the rite in your hands. And we made one more thing clear, the thing to carry from here on. The bodies of light are not rungs on a ladder you climb and leave beneath you. They are inclusive. Every one of them, once you meet it, is kept, and carried with you into the next. The Sahu is not a summit you reached with everything else left below. It is the gathering, the one place where all six bodies before it stand together at once, awake, in a form that cannot decay. So we blessed the rest of the weekend as its own kind of sovereignty, because for the one who has stopped performing, rest is not falling behind. It is refusing to lay yourself back down on the altar of the crowd for two more days.
The teaching and the practice are on the channel through the weekend. After that, they move home to The Temple, where the full body of this work lives, including the full guided Vigil, sat together in the dark.
The Week Ahead: The Sekhem, the Power Directed
The road keeps climbing. This week we reclaim the eighth body of light, the Sekhem, the power directed. Once you know who you are underneath the noise, the next question is what you do with the current that runs through you, and that is the Sekhem. And you already know the rule now. We do not leave the Sahu behind to reach it. We carry all seven of these bodies up into it. It begins with the Doorway on Monday, August 31, at 2:30 PM ET, and the new livestreams run all week at 2:30 PM ET on Power Prophet TV.
Your Free Sekhem Practice Guide

A new practice guide goes up in the Resources library every Sunday, so this week the free guide waiting for you is the Sekhem, the power directed, ready to walk you into the week ahead. And the Sahu practice you learned this week needs nothing but a dark room and one honest page to begin, so give yourself one honest hour in the dark this weekend, and meet the self they cannot touch.
